- Special - The Little Self

This text was channeled during the seminar “Kinderwege”. (It is a seminar for teachers and parents designed to help them raise children with loving authority. This particular seminar was held by Lea Hamann and Matthias Kreis and took place in Austria.) Since we had the feeling that it is of great importance, we decided to publish it here.

And so we begin...

…and so I, Sophia, enter this space, to be with you, to spend some time with you. To come very close and to share my wisdom with your wisdom. To share my strength with your strength. So that we support one another, touch one another. So that we encourage one another to take the next step on your journey as a human being. To take the next step inside you, that next step that lies ahead, that is waiting for you, the step you’ve been sensing, feeling for a long time. You feel that something is about to happen.

How often have you asked yourself: What is it? What is it that wants to happen? Where does my path lead me next? What is the next step on this road I walk on, on this journey of mine?

Many of you began to search. You began to search on the outside, to look for something outside of you. What do others do? What is happening on this earth right now? What is this new thing, this eager, persistent urging sensation inside of me? Where is it and how can I understand it? And how can I let it into my life?

All these questions have been disturbing you. All these questions sent you on a journey. In search of the next step. In search of your own self. In search of your own center.

You see: For a moment I would like to talk about the Little Self with you. About the Self you call little so often. About that pioneer part of your soul that agreed to lead the way. That agreed to be the first to come to this earth. To be the first to enter into this New Energy. To be the first to dare make a new beginning.

And this Little Self has a big problem. One big problem that it doesn't know how to solve. It is trying its best. It is giving its all, trying to change and to explain and to move things. Yet it still hasn't found the key to solving that one problem.

And what is the problem, you may ask. The problem is: The Little Self considers itself to be small and unimportant. Considers itself to be unknowing, to be uncertain, unworthy. The Little Self has an inferiority complex. The Little Self believes the rest of you, the rest of your soul to be so much nicer, so much wiser, so much more appropriate, to have so many more answers and greater wisdom than this Little Self that is now sitting in your chair. This Little Self that has covered such a great distance on your journey as a human being.

You are invited to feel: This pioneer part of you that has had so many experiences, this pioneer part that is carrying so much wisdom inside, so many qualities, that considers itself to be small, inferior, unknowing. It doesn't believe that it is worthy of being this new center in your life. This is the reason why you’ve been searching for things for such a long long time. You said, let's see if I can find this center, this wonderful, beautiful, wise, true thing out there somewhere. Perhaps it's another person, or a sage, a teacher, perhaps there's a new religion or a new kind of spirituality.

And yet whatever you found was not what you were looking for. And some time passed and you had to go out searching again, searching for something new. And again you felt: That's not it. And you kept searching out there, out there, out there to discover your worthiness. To discover your wisdom, to meet your own essence.

You look up to your soul. You look up to God, to other people. You look to nature. Whatever- you look outside, to find your center.

So, it is no wonder that for so many of you it is still quite difficult to let your soul enter to this earth here, to lead the way for your children, to show them a way in life. Because in your core you still don't believe that you are your center. That this Little Self, this small, brave, wonderful part of you is truly your own center. The center of all that you are. You still don't believe that you are appropriate, that you have been chosen, that you are the right one to be the center of your soul. The center of your life. The center of your creations.

The Little Self feels ashamed, thinking: But me, I am not good enough. I don't even have the proper qualifications for all of that. I still haven't found a way to release what I believe to be blocked. I am not compassionate enough, I am not brave enough. I don't know enough. There isn’t much that I can really handle. These are the excuses, again and again and again.

And yet, something inside you knows very well: The time has come. The time has come for me to acknowledge who I really am. The time has come for me to feel why I am here. The time has come for me to realize what my task truly is. The time has come. It's getting closer and closer and closer, until you recognize: I am the center of my world. The center of my body. The center of my life. The center of my soul. I am the foundation, on which the New Energy can expand, on which new experiences can unfold. I am the beginning. I am the middle. I invite you to allow yourself to feel that. Let yourself feel it.

For you see, out of all the aspects of yourself, you - the one sitting here in this chair - you are the one most suitable accept this honour, to accomplish this task. And perhaps you say: Yes, but, there are so many better aspects in me. There are greater aspects. Aspects that know more, that are much more talented. An aspect of me could be a genius or a composer or a sage. What about those aspects, why haven't those aspects been chosen?

Let yourself feel for a moment, how all the parts of your soul look at you and say: No, it's you. You are that center. You are the right one. You are the one, the one who leads the way. Because you are modest. Because you never assumed more than you really are. Because you are humble, you are authentic. Because you own your weaknesses. That's exactly what makes you so unique, so balanced and so precious to us all.

You see: If the genius part of your inner family had gone ahead to lead the way, it would have fell so in love with its own wisdom that it would probably have forgotten all about the other aspects of your soul. The sage, looking for nothing but enlightenment, would have found enlightenment and forgotten the rest of your soul.

Only someone exactly like you would turn around at some point to ask: Would you like to come along? Would you like to be part of this too? Would you like to start on this adventure with me? Only someone who is exactly the way you are can be the center of your soul. Nobody else can accomplish this task.

Let yourself feel for a moment: This is you. This is what you can do best. This is your destiny, your task, your place in this world: To be the center of your soul, to call all the parts of you back home. To lovingly and clearly lead the way for them, so that everything that you are can bloom. So that everything you are, and not just parts of you, can unfold and grow together into a new whole.

You are invited to feel this. You are invited to perceive this. To perceive it. You don't need to worry any more about the Little Self getting smug about it or selfish or narcissistic.

You can allow yourself to be proud, be proud of yourself. You can allow yourself to take your place, that inner place. To receive and feel the love of all the aspects of your own soul. And to fully realize: I am the center of my life. I am here to live this exact adventure. It doesn't make me better or worse than any of the other aspects of my soul.

I am the center of my life. The center of my soul.

And so we begin...
